Mrs.Thomas was born Jan.3;1936;in North Charleroi;a daughter of the late John and Phillis Murray Bevan. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Brownsville. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law;Marvin and Marlene Bevan of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Doris Bevan of Charleroi;Mrs.Raymond (Nancy) Jones of Donora and Mrs.Joseph (Marilyn) Marklewicz of Belle Vernon;and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law;Ed and Betty Lininger of Uniontown. Her husband;James W.Thomas;a brother;Jack Bevan and a sister;Priscilla Stickle;are deceased. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Thursday at noon with the Rev.James Burton;pastor of First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon;officiating.
