Mrs. Jane Bachhofer, 68, a former resident of Pittsburgh, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday,June 22,1958, in Wood Ville State Hospital, Carnegie, Pa. She had been ill two years and seriously ill two months. She was born July 27, 1889, in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of the late August and Augusta Tetz Fenske. Mrs. Bachhofer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Weirton. She was married to Alfred Bachhofer, June 12, 1908, in Monessen, Pa. He preceded her in death in December, 1941. Mrs. Bachhofer leaves two brothers, Herman Fenske and Ted Fenske, both of Weirton, and four sisters, Mrs. Clara Madden of Weirton, Mrs. Bertha Meighen and Mrs. Elizabeth Shrader, both of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Emma Axton of Clarksburg, W. Va. Friends may call at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mr. John F. Torrence of the Grace Lutheran Church, Steubenville, will officiate. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon,Pa.
