James Young;90;of Newell;formerly of Fayette City;died Friday;Dec.22;1972;at 9:25 p.m.in the Waddingtron Nursing Home;Fayette City R.D.;after a lengthy illness. He was born in Pennsylvania April 30;1832. He was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in death by his wife;Elizabeth Park Young;in 1970 and his son;James Young;in 1972. Surviving are three sons;Clarence W.of Fayette City;John Gilbert of Fayette City and Wilfred of Newell;nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Saturday;Dec.23;1972;at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a service will be held Tuesday;Dec.26;1972;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Fred G.Gnatuk;pastor of Fayette City United Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City .
