Obituary

James W.(Jimbo) Fleming Jr.,57,of 323 Ohio St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Aug.21,1996,at his home. He was born in Rostraver Township,Aug.13,1939,a son of the late James W.and Gertrude Jackson Fleming Sr. Mr.Fleming was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge 643 of Belle Vernon,Uniontown Lodge of Perfection,where he was a 14th degree Mason,Valley of Pittsburgh Consistery,where he was a 32nd degree Mason,Rostraver Lions Club,Belle Vernon Moose,Russian Club,Hungarian Club,Norwich Township Sportsmen's Club and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He was a former member of the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Company No,2. Mr.Fleming retired in 1995 as a welder with LTV Steel. He was a former state constable in Rostraver Township. He was a U.S.Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife,Donna L.Hayes Fleming,two sons,James W.Fleming III of Anderson,Ind.,and Jack W.Fleming of Charleroi,two stepsons,Dennis Hayes of East Liverpool,Ohio,and James Cillo of Donora,two daughters,Janice Frameli of Belle Vernon and Jodi Fleming of Roscoe,one stepdaughter,Jodi Hayes of Donora,one sister,Mrs.Gertrude (Rusty) Utley,and 14 grandchildren. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,Harry Fleming,and a grandson,Jeffrey Fleming. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.S.Miles McConnell,pastor of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
