James W.(Jimbo) Fleming Jr.;57;of 323 Ohio St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Aug.21;1996;at his home. He was born in Rostraver Township;Aug.13;1939;a son of the late James W.and Gertrude Jackson Fleming Sr. Mr.Fleming was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge 643 of Belle Vernon;Uniontown Lodge of Perfection;where he was a 14th degree Mason;Valley of Pittsburgh Consistery;where he was a 32nd degree Mason;Rostraver Lions Club;Belle Vernon Moose;Russian Club;Hungarian Club;Norwich Township Sportsmen’s Club and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He was a former member of the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Company No;2. Mr.Fleming retired in 1995 as a welder with LTV Steel. He was a former state constable in Rostraver Township. He was a U.S.Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife;Donna L.Hayes Fleming;two sons;James W.Fleming III of Anderson;Ind.;and Jack W.Fleming of Charleroi;two stepsons;Dennis Hayes of East Liverpool;Ohio;and James Cillo of Donora;two daughters;Janice Frameli of Belle Vernon and Jodi Fleming of Roscoe;one stepdaughter;Jodi Hayes of Donora;one sister;Mrs.Gertrude (Rusty) Utley;and 14 grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Harry Fleming;and a grandson;Jeffrey Fleming. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.S.Miles McConnell;pastor of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
