Mr. James Winter died at the home of his daughter,Mrs. James Byron,508 tenth street,Sunday morning,May5th,1924,at 8 o'clock. He had been sick only since Wednesday and had moved from Barnesboro the Sunday before to make his home with his daughter. His death was due to asthma and heart trouble. He was 78 years old. His wife died just three weeks before him. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jas.Byron of Monessen and Mrs. Elisha Fisher of Yukon,Pa.,nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He will be buried from the Episcopal Church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
