J. W. Morgan, age 67, died at noon,Tuesday,January 10,1933 at his home, 957 Donner avenue, death being due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Coroner Dr. H. A. McMurray was notified of the death. Mr. Morgan has been employed at the Page Steel & Wire Company as a night watchman and returned home early Monday morning. He evidently had gone to the cellar to attend the furnace and returning was seized with a stroke and fell backwards. He was found at the bottom of the steps about 6:30 by other members of the household. He was carried to his bed and regained consciousness at times,but his death occurred at noon on Tuesday. Mr.Morgan was born and raised in Belle Vernon and came to Monessen five years ago. Besides his wife, Margaret E. Morgan,he is survived by the following children: Mrs. J.F. (Elizabeth) Connolly of Monessen and J.Edward and Charles Morgan,of Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held from the late home Friday afternoon at two o'clock with interment following in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
