James W. (Uncle Bud) Davis,78,of Bentleyville,died about 6:30 Friday,November 28,1952,at his home in Bentleyville. Mr. Davis was born in Romney,W.Va.,Nov. 27,1874. He was a retired watchman. He is survived by five nieces,Lillie Brinegar of Bentleyville,Mrs. Marie Moore of Bentleyville,Mrs. Pearl Geho of Washington,Mrs. Naomi Kelly of Los Angeles,Calif.,and Mrs. Dorothy Toward; and two nephews,Robert Brinegar of Fayette City and Claude Brinegar of Bentleyville. Friends will be received at the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home,Bentleyville. Services will be held there Monday,December 1,1952,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. E.M. Board. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John B. Greenlee is the funeral director.
