James W.Hepple;77;of 443 Mckee Ave.;Monessen died Saturday;Feb.12;1972;at 4:35 p.m. in Charleroi Monessen Hospital. Born in Ohio on June 15;1894;Mr.Hepple was a long-time resident of Monessen. He was a member of the First Christian Church. In 1960 he retired from his work as an operator in the central steam department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp’s Monessen plant. Preceded in death by his wife;Mrs.Fannie Hepple;in January;1957;he is survived by one son;James F.Hepple of Hobart;Ind.;one daughter;Mrs.Robert (Doris) Mclaughlin of Monessen;with whom he resided;three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;and one sister;Gertrude Hepple of Marion Villa;Arnold city. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;262 Donner Ave.;Monessen;Monday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday;Feb.16;1972;at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.Vernon W.McDormand;pastor of the First Christian Church of Monessen;officiating.
