Obituary

James W.Hepple,77,of 443 Mckee Ave.,Monessen died Saturday,Feb.12,1972,at 4:35 p.m. in Charleroi Monessen Hospital. Born in Ohio on June 15,1894,Mr.Hepple was a long-time resident of Monessen. He was a member of the First Christian Church. In 1960 he retired from his work as an operator in the central steam department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp's Monessen plant. Preceded in death by his wife,Mrs.Fannie Hepple,in January,1957,he is survived by one son,James F.Hepple of Hobart,Ind.,one daughter,Mrs.Robert (Doris) Mclaughlin of Monessen,with whom he resided,three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,and one sister,Gertrude Hepple of Marion Villa,Arnold city. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,262 Donner Ave.,Monessen,Monday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday,Feb.16,1972,at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.Vernon W.McDormand,pastor of the First Christian Church of Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer,funeral director.
