James V.Simpson;53;of 934 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday morning;Feb.6;1961;at 3:45 o’clock in the Oakland Veterans Administration Hospital;Pittsburgh after a brief illness. Mr.Simpson was born in Belle Vernon;July 8;1907 and was a U.S.Army World War ll veteran. He was employed at Armstrong Brothers Hotel;Pittsburgh. Surviving are five brothers;Robert;at home;Nelson of Los Angeles;Calif.and Lawrence;Louis and Dale of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.Raymond (Hazel) Chilton of Belle Vernon ;Mrs.Vincent (Velma) Frazier of Donora and Mrs.Jack (Betty) Dillard of Belle Vernon and many nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the late home beginning Tuesday at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Thursday;Feb.9;1961;at 11 a.m. The Rev.H.F.Coffey will officiate.
