A former Monessen man;James Tolbert Killings;68;of 514 Fifth St.;Mather;died Thursday;March 7;1968;in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mr.Killings;a resident of Mather seven years;had lived in Monessen 30 years and Brownsville four years. He was a retired employee of the Donora plant of U.S.Steel’s American Steel and Wire Division. Mr.Killings was born on Aug.3;1899;in Springfield;Tenn. Surviving are his widow;Elizabeth;two sisters;Mrs.Elizabeth Bernett and Mrs.Mary Lenora;both of Kokomo;Ind.;a brother;Evans of Belle Vernon;several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Law Funeral Home;Brownsville;after 7 p.m.March 9. Funeral services will take place there Monday;March 11;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.William Richardson;pastor of Mt.Lebanon Baptist Church in Brownsville;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
