James Tatar Jr.;81;of Belle Vernon and formerly of Twilight;died Sunday;Aug.21;1994;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Charleroi.Jan.6;1913;a son of the late James and Eva Lasko Tatar;Sr. Mr.Tatar was Catholic by faith; He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Allenport Plant. He is survived by his daughter;Shirley Tatar Dean of Belle Vernon;with whom he made his home;three sisters;Eva Collins of Washington;Pa.;Gazelle Oates of Charleoi and Mary Brown of Monessen;two grandchildren;Cynthia Sitka of Houston and Donald Dean of Pittsburgh;and two great-grandchildren;Adam and Aaron Sitka. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Edna Kenny Tater;and two sisters;Della Courtley and Catherine Bethem. Friends will be received Tueaday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home Inc.;235 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with Pastor William Volpe Jr.officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
