Mr. James Pearce,aged 60,died Wednesday morning, September 12,1928, at his home in Essen,after a lingering illness of over 18 weeks. Mr. Pearce was born in Blem Avon,Wales and migrated to this country about twenty-five years ago. He is survived by his wife,three sons,William,Bert and George and two daughters,Mrs. Raymond Peters and Miss Louise Pearce;four grandchildren and two sisters,who reside in Wales. The deceased had been a member of the United Brethern Church for the past fourteen years. Mr. Pearce has been a resident of Essen for the past twenty-five years and occupied the position of janitor in the Tenth street school building for a number of years. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the United Brethern Church with interment to follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
