died Monday; Dec; 6; 1993; in
Dainty’s Valley Care; R.D.
Perryopolis.
He was born July 15; 1902; in
Fayette City; a son of the late
Thomas and Alice Pearce
Owens.
He was a retired steelworker
from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Corp. at the Monessen
plant. He was a member of the
Newell United Methodist Church
and the F&AM Masonic Lodge;
California.
Survivors include his wife;
Henrietta Snyder Owens; one
son ; Fred Owens of
Monongahela; two daughters;
Siona Wilson of Uniontown and
Joan Zeller of Newark; Del.; two
sisters; Agnes Wickerham and
Violet Fitzpatrick; both of
Monongahela; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.;
Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
and Wednesday until 10:30 a.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.Douglas M.Heagy officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
