Obituary

James O. Manzini, 81, of Dunlevy, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, in Mon Valley Care Center. A son of the late Sebastian and Erminia Ferrari Manzini, he was born in North Charleroi on Oct. 2, 1924. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Seabees. Mr. Manzini retired in 1995 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., where he was a millwright. Survivors include his wife, Ruth E. Wineland Manzini, whom he married in 1948, one son and daughter- in-law, Jim and Lydia Manzini, of Greensburg, and one granddaughter, Darcy Fearer and husband Jeff, of New Stanton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dena DiPiazza and Mary Lupori, and two brothers, Pete and Albert Manzini. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, www.fergusonfuneralhome.net, (724-929-5300), a Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, where funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 24, at 11 a.m. with Pastor J.E. Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
