A retired carpenter;James Newton Moyer;aged 82 years;died Thursday morning;January 22;1959;when his one roomhouse in Speers was destroyed by fire. Charleroi firemen were called at 9:20 o’clock. He was born July 19;1876. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Elizabeth Moyer;who lived in Butler;two sisters;Mrs.Hollis Sprouse of Brownsville;and Mrs.Alice Harper of Greensburg;two brothers;Russell of Monessen and William of Orlando;Florida;and several nieces and nephews.
