Obituary

James Nescot,66,of 3 Somers St.,Pricedale,died Sunday,Dec.19,1976,at 6:15 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Manor on Nov.8,1910,he had lived in Pricedale the past 37 years. Mr.Nescot had been a coal miner,retiring in 1960. He was a member of the United Mineworkers of America and the Hungarian Beneficial Society of Pricedale. He was preceded in death by his parents,Michael and Anna Nescot,and by a brother,Joseph. Surviving are his widow,Delores Britt Nescot,one daughter,Mrs.Joseph (Mary Ann) Gallo of Monessen,one son,James D.Nescot of Greensburg,three sisters,Mrs.Pearl Steban of Collinsburg,Mrs.Lewis (Mary) Long of California State and Mrs.George (Julia) Solsky of Keystone,four brothers,John Nescot of Pricedale,Steve Nescot of Keystone,Peter Nescot of California State and Paul Nescot of Bethel Park. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Blessing services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Leonard J.Parzynski is funeral director in charge.
