James Marasco, aged 76 years, 805 Arch st.,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial on Wednesday Aug. 2,1961 at 1:30 p.m. He was born in Italy on Feb. 21,1885. He was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church of Belle Vernon,Guiseppe Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy and was a shoemaker in Belle Vernon until his retirement in 1941. He was a Belle Vernon resident for 50 years. He is survived by a sister-in-law,Mrs. Philomena Marasco of Belle Vernon and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with a Requiem High Mass at St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. The Rev. Andrew King will officate and interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
