James L. Fohner,aged 71 years, died suddenly at 10 o'clock Thursday morning December 24,1942,at his home,40 Stracke avenue. He had resided in Monessen for the past 43 years and had been employed at the Pittsburgh Steel. Surviving are his wife,Mary Jane Spowart Fohner,and the following children;George Fohner,California;Harry Fohner and Mrs. Alice Stofan,Barberton,Ohio; Mrs. Mildred Fechter,Roscoe;Mrs. Stella Howard,Mrs. Margaret Yohe,James C. Fohner,Mrs. Thomas Wanko and Edward Fohner,all of Monessen.
