James L.Linderman Sr.;72;Johnson Avenue;Pricedale;died Friday;Dec.20;1991;at 1:35 a.m.in Jefferson Hospital. He was born on Sept.3;1919;in Pricedale;a son of the late David and Blanche Smith Landman Linderman. Mr.Linderman was a lifelong resident of Pricedale and a member of the Union Church of Pricedale and Salem Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S.Army where he received a Purple Heart. Mr.Linderman retired in 1976 from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company;Monessen plant;where he was employed as a charger-helper. He was past district president and governor of the Belle Vernon Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the Union Church of Pricedale Dart Board League. He was preceded in death by two sons;David N.Linderman in 1964 and Terry L.Linderman in 1976;a grandson;Dennis Lanham in 1982;and one sister;Virginia Hall in 1982. Survivors include his wife;Lee Santmyer Linderman;three daughters;Mrs.Isaac (Joanne) Lanham of Jefferson Township;Mrs.Lawrence (Kimberly) L.Linderman Nagy of Monessen;and Lea Ann Linderman at home;four sons;Gary Haines of Charleroi;Roy Linderman of Jefferson Township;Jeffrey Linderman at home;and James Linderman Jr.of Ruffsdale;three brothers;Charles Linderman of Belle Vernon;Albert Landman of Brownsville;and Robert Landman of Richeyville;five sisters;Oleta Holt of Brownsville;Mrs.John (Betty) Bondarenka of California;Gloria Holt of Brownsville;Mrs.William (Dolores) Dickinson of Richeyville and Mrs.Bud (Norma) Wright of Waynesburg;eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev.Howard Rodabaugh and Rev.David R.Reeves Jr.officiating. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
