James L.Sterner;68;of 317 Water street;Belle Vernon;died at his home;Thursday;Nov.1;1956 at 8 a.m. He is survived by his wife;Adda;six sons;Mervin James and Louis of Okmulgee;Oklahoma;Donald;Alvin;Roy and William of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.William (Alverta) Helmken of Okmulgee;Oklahome;Mrs.Jack (Glenna) Richwind;Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Robert (Joan) Peters of Belle Vernon;three brothers;Harvey of Conneaut;Clifford of Monongahela;and Thomas Earl of Sarasota;Florida;two sisters;Mrs.Maude Markle and Mrs.Blanche Shermer of West Newton;eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 ad 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Monday;November 5;1956;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.George Guest;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
