James Joseph Sabolek,57,of 3226-A Oakwood Village, Chamblee, Ga., died Saturday,July 28,2001,at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. Born April 28,1944 in North Charleroi,he was a son of the late Joseph A. Sabolek who died Sept. 11,1996,and Sophia Turek Sabolek who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. Mr. Sabolek was a former resident of the Belle Vernon community. He was Catholic by faith and a former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. He was employed in sales and services for Cable One AT&T of Atlanta. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Cassandra Sabolek of Akron,Ohio, Eva and Michael Smith of Streetsboro,Ohio and Helen Sabolek of Connecticut; three grandchildren,Daniel Richter of Chamblee,Ga.,Carol Ann Sabolek of Akron,Ohio and Sunday Johnson of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, and a sister-in-law,David George and Joni Sabolek of Clear Lake,Iowa, Edward Andrew and Valarie Salolek of Belle Vernon;four sisters,and three brothers-in-law,Mary Louise and Donald DeFazio of Connellsville,Lenora and Harry Anthony of RostraverTownship,Cecelia Joan and Billy Newberry of Cape Coral,Fla.,and Susan Lepore of North Field,Ohio;and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father,he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Sabolek. Friends will be rceived on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Prayer services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,with the Rev. John R. Cindric,V.F.,pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Legion of Mary will pray the Rosary Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
