James J.Brizzi Sr.;55;of 1223 State Road;Monessen;died Friday;April 30;1999;in Monongahela Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Brizzi was born Oct.12;1943;in North Charleroi;the son of the late Albino and Naomi Niccolai Brizzi. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;Monessen Elks 773 and Belle Vernon Fire Company Number 2. A 1962 graduate of Bellmar High School;he was a dispatcher for Supervalu in Belle Vernon and had worked for the former Wetterau and Fox Grocery companies for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife;Gloria Dragan Brizzi;and two sons;James J.Brizzi Jr.of Ebensburg and Jason T.Brizzi;at home. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where prayer services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
