James Howard McLaughlin;
32; of 921 Brown St.; Belle Vernon.; died Friday Feb.21;1964;at 4:30
p.m. at the U.S. Public Health
Center; Baltimore; Md.
Mr. McLaughlin was born in
Dawson Dec. 24; 1931. A resident of Belle Vernon most of
his life; he was a 1950 graduate
of Vernon High School. From
1951 to 1954; he served with the
U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier; U.S.S. Cabot.
He was employed as a millwright helper at the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel.
He was a member of St Sebastian R.C; Church; American
Legion and the Auxiliary Police
of North Belle Vemon.
Surviving him are his widow;
Elma Gelotti McLaughlin;a son Sammy James;and a
daughter; Sandra Rae; at home;
his mother; Mrs. Bertha Pappas of Harrisburg; his father;
Raymond McLaughlin of Newell; and two sisters; Louaina
Mae and Linda McLaughlin of
Newell.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Martin O’Toole officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby Ferguson;funeral director.
