J.Howard Isenberg;86;who had been making his home with his daughter;Mrs.Sam (Ruth) Destefano;1274 Rostraver St.;Monessen;died this morning Tuesday;Aug.11;1964;at 6:32 o’clock. He was born in Petersburg;Pa.;Aug.13;1877;and belonged to the First Christian Church of Monessen. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War and a retired Tin Mill worker. He was preceded in death by his wife;Elizabeth;who died July 6;1958. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Sam (Ruth) Destefano of Monessen;Mrs.Harry (Helen) Malone of Monessen;four sons;Vincent J.of Belle Vernon;Police Chief;Howard T.of New York City;Wayne of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and Robert of Huntingdon;three sisters;Mrs.March Long of Huntingdon;Mrs.James Rupert of Huntingdon and Mrs.Lottie McGhakin of Altoona;eleven grandchildren;seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home in Monessen after 1 p.m. Aug.12. Service there Friday;Aug.14 at 1:30 p.m.in charge of the Rev.
