James (Hick) Miller Sr.;59;of 506 Perry Ave.;Belle Vernon R.D.died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Tuesday Jan.18;1966;at 2:50 a.m. Mr.Miller was born in Belle Vernon on March 21;1906;the son of the late Henry and Mary Hepple Miller. He was a member of Calvin United Presbyterian Church of Brownsville and was employed in the oil well tubing department of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow;Ethel Kovatch Miller;four daughters;Mrs.Anthony (Ethel Mae) Scaccia of Charleroi;Mrs.Norman (Marilyn Jane) Kutcy and Mrs.Anthony (Ruth Ann) Silardi;both of Fairhope and Loretta Jean Miller at home;two sons;William Edwin and James H.Jr.;both of Marion Villa (Fairhope);thirteen grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a service will take place Friday;Jan.27;at 2:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev.Victor Bodnar;pastor of Calvin United Presbyterian Church of Brownsville and the Rev.Abner P.Richard;pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church in Fairhope.
