Obituary

James F.Jesick,90,of Belle Vernon,died Monday,Dec.19,1994,in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born July 31,1904,in Fayette City,he was a son of the late Peter and Mary Smith Jesick. Mr.Jesick was retired from U.S.Steel Corporation's Irwin Works. He was a member of Marion United Presbyterian Church,Fairhope. Survivors include his wife,Irene Parkins Jesick,one son and daughter-in-law,James Frederick and Lorraine Jesick of Simsburg,Conn.,one daughter,Mona Dell Miller of Belle Vernon,four grandchildren,Mrs.Roy(Judith) Horrell,Mrs.Thomas (Karen) Ferita,James Jesick and Peter Jesick,seven great-grandchildren,three brothers and sisters-in-law,Maynard and Vivian Jesick of Belle Vernon,Dr.Victor and Elsie Jesick of Fayette City and Thomas and Betty Jesick of Belle Vernon,and two sisters,Helen Jesick and Margaret Brown,both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,and Thursday until 10 a.m.,when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.John Park,pastor of Marion United Presbyterian Church of Fairhope,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimers Foundation or the charity of one's choice. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
