J.F. (Will) Bailey,34,of Pricedale was killed at the Pricedale mine of the Pittsburgh Coal Company at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning,August 29,1927. The accident occurred in one of the rooms in the mine. Mr.Bailey was caught directly under a heavy fall of slate and completely buried. It is thought that he died instantly. He leaves a wife and two children in West Virginia. He came to Pricedale to work when the Pittsburgh Coal Company issued a call for men to work in their mines.
