Mr. Tartt was born in Livinston;
Ala.; and had resided in
Monessen the past 60 years.
He retired from the barbed
wire department qf the Monessen
Plant of Wheeling – Pittsburgh
Steel Corp. in 1954.
He was a member of Wayman
AME Church of Monessen;
Masonic Lodge No. 79; F&AM;
Monessen. and Sahara Temple
No. 2 of Pittsburgh.
Surviving are one daughter;
Mildred Tartt of Philadelphia;
formerly of Monessen; and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at
the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held Saturday Feb.15;1975;at 11 a.m.in Wayman AME Church;Monessen;with the Rev.W.J.Dickey;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper is funeral director in charge.
