Obituary

James E.Harper,aged 27 years,died Tuesday,May 14,1935 at his late home at 610 Blind Lane Street,Belle Vernon following a brief illness. Death was attributed to heart disease. The deceased was born in Belle Vernon,June 4,1907,a son of Mr.and Mrs.Millard Harper,Sr. He was employed as a crane operator at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company,and was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife Myrtle Harper,one daughter Dolores,his parents,one brother,Millard Harper Jr.,of Chicago,Ill.,and one sister,Mrs.Sylvia Stevens,of Elli Jay,Ga. The remains will be at the Toner funeral parlors,Belle Vernon,where friends will be received. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the First Christian Church,Belle Vernon,with the pastor,the Rev.M.E.Speer in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
