James E.Harper;aged 27 years;died Tuesday;May 14;1935 at his late home at 610 Blind Lane Street;Belle Vernon following a brief illness. Death was attributed to heart disease. The deceased was born in Belle Vernon;June 4;1907;a son of Mr.and Mrs.Millard Harper;Sr. He was employed as a crane operator at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company;and was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his wife Myrtle Harper;one daughter Dolores;his parents;one brother;Millard Harper Jr.;of Chicago;Ill.;and one sister;Mrs.Sylvia Stevens;of Elli Jay;Ga. The remains will be at the Toner funeral parlors;Belle Vernon;where friends will be received. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the First Christian Church;Belle Vernon;with the pastor;the Rev.M.E.Speer in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
