Obituary

James Donald Waugaman, 95, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. A son of the late Kenneth G. and Myrtle Smith Waugaman, he was born in Crabtree on June 29, 1921. Don was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, a 50 year member of the Tri-County F.&A.M. Lodge 252 in Donora, The Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Donora and sang with the Valley Chordsman, as well as many community choirs. Don was the owner of the Waugaman Agency, where he was an insurance broker. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Rutledge Waugaman; a daughter and son-in-law, Donice Horton and Mark Fraker of Vancouver, British Colombia; a niece, BJ Thomas of Brownstown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, PA. 724-929-5300 www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com 
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, Rev Sue Currie and Revs. Mark and Sharon Woomer officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Masonic service will take place in the funeral home at 7:30 Friday evening.
