Obituary

James Caruse, 59,of 229 South St. Clair St.,Pittsburgh,died in Oakland Veterans Hospital on Friday,March 10,1961 at 2 a.m.  A veteran of World War II,he had worked as a car salesman for many years in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alma Massey of Monessen,and Ada Esposito of New York,and one brother,Anthony Caruse of Chicago. Friends are being received at the Dorothy B. Zepfel Funeral Home,150 S. Negley Ave., East End,Pittsburgh,where visiting hours are 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday.  Requiem Mass on Sunday,March 12,1961 at 10:15 a.m. in Our Lady of Help of Christians R.C.Church. Private burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Edwin Melenyzer, funeral director.
