James C.Black;64;of 339 Green St.;Belle Vernon died Wednesday Aug.3;1960;at 2:45 p.m.at the Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Local;A.F.of L.;Charleroi;and the Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Mr.Black was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife;Alice Hammitt Black;one daughter;Mrs.Russell (Janet) Gray of Belle Vernon;three sons;Jamec C.Jr.;of Charleroi;Loren R.of Charleroi and Robert L.of Tampa;Fla.;and 11 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.until Saturday;Aug.6;at 2 p.m.when services will be held there with the Rev.William Schatz;pastor of the First Methodist Church;Belle Vernon officiating.
