James B. Newbill,82,of 112 Shadyside,Pricedale,died at his home Sunday, Feb. 14,1965 about 10 a.m. following a short illness.Mr. Newbill,who was born in Franklin County,Va.,Sept. 8,1882 had made Pricedale his home since 1929. Mr. Newbill was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow, Susan;four daughters, Mrs. Grace Cook of Pricedale,Margaret Newbill,Mrs. Alvin (Estella) Reed and Maggie Newbill,all of Rohester,N.Y.; two sons, Oscar of Long Beach, Calif.and Ollie of Duarte, Calif.,twenty-four grandchildren,twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen. Service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18,in Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon. The Rev. A.C. Morris, pastor,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
