James A. McCoy,26,of 305 Rostraver street, Monessen,died at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 3:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 30,1953 of a fractured skull and other injuries due to a work related accident. An Army veteran,Mr. McCoy spent 11 months in Korea during his two-year tour of duty. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. James Hightower,at home;a sister,Mrs. Bertha Mae Dixon,of Monongahela,and two brothers, Nelson and Benny McCoy,both at home. Funeral services will be held at the Union Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. W.E. McBrayer,of Fellsburg,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home on Sixth street.
