James A.Ferren;70;a widower;who made his home with Mr.and Mrs.Edwin G.Clendenon of 657 McCrea Ave.;Donora;died suddenly Wednesday;Oct.17;1962 at 9:30 a.m. He suffered a heart attack. He was born on February 6;1892;in East Liverpool;Ohio. Mr.Ferren was a former agent for Colonial Life insurance;a position he held for 20 years until retirement two years ago. He lived in Monessen prior to moving to Donora. Surviving are his step-mother;Mrs.Jessie Chapman of Newbury;Ohio;a son;James in the state of California;a daughter;Mrs.Robert Scribner of Toledo;Ohio;a sister;Mrs.David Sherrill of Tampa;Fla.;and a sister-in-law;Mrs.Charlotta Ferren of Allenport.
