Obituary

Jacqueline A. Fleming, 72, of Windber, formerly of Belle Vernon, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at her residence. Born March 21, 1934, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Morgan and Eleanor Smith Paul. A long-time resident of Windber, she was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Windber, where she was a lay leader, chairperson of the Evangelistic Committee, chairperson of the Windber Ministerial, and a volunteer for Hospice. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Debra Kennedy, of Lowell, Ind., one grandson, Michael Kennedy and wife Kandi, of Crown Point, Ind., and five great-grandchildren, Tristen and Kissten, Joseph and Levi, and Gabrielle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fleming, and a granddaughter, Michelle Elise Kennedy. Visitation will be held in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-5300), on Tuesday Feb. 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., the time of service with the Rev. Gary Grau of Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber, officiating. In lieu of f1owers, donations may be made in memory of Jacqueline A. Fleming to one's local hospice or to Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Ill.
