Jacob Sadowski,aged 74,of Fairhope, Belle Vernon R.D. 3, died Friday, Sept. 2,1955 at 5:30 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Warsaw,Poland,Mr. Sadowski was a member of the St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three sons, William of Fayete City,R.D.,and Charles and Joseph,both of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon R.D.3;five daughters, Mrs. Ward (Sylvia) Huntley of Lynnwood;Mrs. Anthony (Mary) Steinburg of Belle Vernon R.D.3,Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Glamb of Pontiac, Mich.,Mrs. Bernard (Frances) Gillen of Birmingham,Mich,and Mrs. Leroy (Blanche) Newton of Berkely,Mich. Twelve grandchildren and a sister in Poland also survive. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday, Sept. 5,1955,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.,in St. Sebastian Church. Rev. Francis Martin will be in charge,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
