Jacob Richard Steinmiller,60,of Palos Hills,Ill.,died Saturday,Aug. 19,2000,at 12:07 a.m.,in St. Mary's,Pa. He was born May 5,1940,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Jacob and Irene Sabo Steinmiller. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Palos Hills,and the Marine Corps League. He was a life member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He resided in Palos Hills the past 10 years and previously resided in Jarrettsville,Md. He was a maintenance manager for the Nabisco Co.in Chicago for the past 10 years. He was an E-5 sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1959 to 1962. Survivors include his wife,Suzanne Wokaly Steinmiller;two sons and one daughter-in-law,Ronald Steinmiller and his fincee Dawn Hale,both of Jarrettsville,Md.,and Richard M.and Kim Steinmiller of Bridgeport,W.Va.;one sister,Alice Sedell of Carlisle,Pa.;and three grandchildren,Michael,Hank,and Chad Steinmiller. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,a Golden Rule Member Firm,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
