Jacob M.Rogers;55;of 203A N.Tenth St.;Reading;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Dec.10;1988;at 2:43 p.m.;in St.Joseph Hospital;Reading. He was born Sept.12;1933;in Monessen;a son of the late Jacob S.and Edith Reynolds Rogers. Mr.Rogers lived in Belle Vernon for 25 years;prior to moving to Reading five years ago;where he was employed by the Rufflian Steel Corp.as a machinist. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife;Sandra Farkas Rogers of Belle Vernon;one son and daughter-in-law;Timothy and Maureen Rogers of Pittsburgh;his mother-in-law;Essen Farkas of Belle Vernon;and two sisters;Mrs.Lee Brown and Margaret Rogers;both of Saxton. Friends will be received Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m.;in the Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;at which time funeral servies will be held. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
