Ivan (Novak) Novosel,217 Robert St.,Lynnwood, Belle Vernon,died Friday, May 5,1967 at 6:30 a.m. in McKeesport Hospital after an illness of five weeks. Mr. Novosel was born in Yugoslavia,and had been a residedent of Belle Vernon for 40 years coming there from Fayette City. He was retired from the construction department of Monessen Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of St. Anthony R.C.Church,Monessen,and Croatian Club, Monessen. Surviving are his widow,Terza;two step-sons,Joseph Saflin of North Braddock and John Saflin of Swissvale. Friends will be received at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.,m. Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 8,with Blessing service at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home,and Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. from St. Anthony R.C.Church,Monessen. The Rev. Kordic,church pastor,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A. Billick,funeral director.
