Mrs.Isabella Laird Woolsey of 441 Donner avenue;Monessen;died Monday;April 4;1955;at 6:10 p.m. She was born in Scotland and was a pioneer resident of Monessen. She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of that city. Preceded in death by her husband;Ewing L.Woolsey;at one time second chief of police of Monessen;who died in 1942;she is survived by one brother;Gordon Laird of Fort Wayne;Indiana;and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Thursday;April 7;1955;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Abner P.Richard. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome is the funeral director.
