Township); died Sunday; Feb.
16; 1997; in her home.
Born Jan. 5;1916; in Floreffe;
she was a daughter of the late
Robert and Isabell Carrick
Johnston.
Miss Johnston was a member
of Pricedale Union Church.
Prior to her retirement; she
served four terms as Westmoreland County Recorder of Deeds.
Survivors include three brothers and sisters-in-law;
James C. and Catherine Johnston of Speers Hill; Thomas and
Nathalie Johnston of Belle Vernon R.D. 2 and Robert L. and
Betty Johnston of Canton;two sisters and one brother-in-law; Agnes Krett of
Panama City; Fla.; and Florence and James Weir of Belle
Vernon R D. 2.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by a
sister; Mrs. John (Martha) McBride. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m.in the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.James J.Mimidis officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
