Isabel L. Griffith,85,of Warren,Ohio,died Monday,Jan.17,1994,at 2:30 p.m. in Autumn Hills Care Center,Niles,Ohio. Born Nov. 11,1908,in Charleroi,she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Lovejoy Palfrey. Mrs. Griffith was a member of Central Christian Church,Warren,Ohio. She had lived in Warren for the past 40 years,and was formerly a resident of Speers. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis S. Griffith,on March 12,1982;a daughter,Beverly Patricia Griffith,in July 1945;and two sisters,Garnet Shaffer and Genevieve Kollar. Surviving is one daughter,Jolly Lou Griffith of Warren,Ohio. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles K. Sowden,retired Methodist minister,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
