Hospital.
He was born Sept 16; 1907 in
Harnettsville; Pa ; a son of the
late Charles and Pearl
Speicher Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was a retired
coal miner from the Mathies
Mine of Consolidation Coal
Company in Union Twp. and
was a member of the United
Mine Workers union.
Surviving are his widow;
Hazel Evans Jenkins; a son;
Harold Jenkins of Belle
Vernon; a daughter; Mrs.
Ronald (Norma) Furlong of Fallowfield Twp.; two
brothers; Albert Jenkins of
Whitsett and Fuller Jenkins
of Perryopolis; two sisters;
Mrs Irene Irwin of
Perryopolis and Mrs Elliott
Neth of Coal Center; and eight
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
a son; Floyd Jenkins; in 1969.
Friends will be received at
the Harold L Schrock Funeral
Home; 226 Fallowfield Ave ;
Charleroi; Saturday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p m and Sunday from 12 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday;April 25;1977 at 11 a.m.at the funeral home;the Rev.Franklin F.Harman;pastor of the Fallowfield Twp.Baptist Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
