Mr.Houseman;who came to Belle Vernon 31 years ago from Fairhope;was employed in the oil well tubing department of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a member of Marion Pesbyterian Church;Fairhope;and American Legion Post 659;Belle Vernon. He was born in Rostraver Twp.;April 25;1911. Surviving are his widow;Virginia Fetkenous Houseman;a son;Rudy I.of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Cathy at home;his mother;Mrs.Tillie Anderson of Fairhope;three brothers;James W.of Fairhope;Clyde C.of Belle Vernon;Warren of Buena Park;Calif.;one granddaughter. His father;Clyde C.Houseman;is deceased. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Aug.1 at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon. Service there Thursday;Aug.3;at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.Richard B.Snyder;pastor of Belle Vernon’s First Methodist Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
