Irene Swiantek; 92; of Perryopolis; Pa.; died Wednesday; February 13; 2008; in Mt. Macrina Manor; Uniontown. She was born April 21; 1915; in Washington Township; Fayette County; a daughter of the late Louis Klinsky and the late Elizabeth Fesco Klinsky. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Perryopolis. The family would like to thank the staffs at Mt. Macrina Manor; Albert Gallatin Hospice and Twin Oaks Home Care for the excellent care given to Irene during her illness. Surviving are two sons; Dennis P. (Glenda) Swiantek; of Wichita; Kan.; and Raymond (Melissa) Swiantek; of Perryopolis; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond P. Swiantek; grandson; Pvt. Daniel C. Swiantek; and four sisters; Elizabeth; Sue; Helen and Jenitte; and one brother; Louis. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City (724-326-5621); on Friday; February 15; from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday; February 16; until 9:30 a.m.; when a blessing services will take place; followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church; Perryopolis; with the Rev. Robert Lubic officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
