Towers died Saturday August 29;1987 at 4
a.m. at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born June 27; 1917 in
Fairhope; a daughter of the late
John F. and Mabel Blacka Fields.
She was a member of the United
Methodist Church. She was a resident
of the Bentleyville area for the last
36 years.
She was a retired employee of
Cox’s Department Store in
Charleroi.
Besides her parents; she was
predeceded in death by her husband;
Harry M. in 1979.
Survivors include one son; John
K.; a granddaughter; Diane Marie
MacDonald and a grandson John; all
of Garfield Heights; Ohio; a sister;
Georgia Stanko of Fayette City.
Friends will be received from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Greenlee
Funeral Home in Bentleyville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with Rev.S.Miles McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Greenlee Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
