Mrs.Irene Huston Hoffman;85;of 211 Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Thursday;March 14;1957;at 7:50 p.m. Mrs.Hoffman was born in Houston Run;March 25;1871. She had been a resident of Belle Vernon for forty-one years;and was a member of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband;William Hoffman;on July 17;1953;she is survived by one daughter;Miss Rachel Hoffman at home;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Monday;March 18;at 2 p.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
