Irene Cathers;54;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died on Tuesday;May 30;1989;at 11:40 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m.;and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with Rev.Thomas G.Rinn as celebrant. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
