Ilvo Picchiarini of 605
Graham St., Belle Vernon,
died Tuesday,Dec.16,1980, at 8:45 a.m. in
the Veterans Administration
Hospital, Aspinwall. He was
70.
Mr. Picchiarini was born
March 3, 1910, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late William
and Anna Lotti Picchiarini.
A lifelong resident of the
Belle Vernon community,
Mr. Picchiarini retired
March 3, 1972, as a millright
at the Monessen Plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
He was a veteran of World
War II having served with the
U.S. Navy and was a member
of St. Sebastian R.C. Church,
Belle Vernon, and Belle Vernon American Legion Post
659.
Survivors Include his
widow, Linda Paterra Picchiarini, two daughters, Mrs.
Daniel (Olivia) Leopold of
Belle Vernon and Mrs. Barry
(Joann) Adams of
Ebensburg, two brothers,
Aldo Picchiarini of Belle Vernon and Elmo Picchiari of Monessen,one sister,Mrs.George (Delma) Bindi of Monessen,and two grandchildren,Joshua and Rachel Leopold. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9 a.m.to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 services will be held Thursday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
